EXCURSION♥
Last
Friday1st December, the sixth-grade children
went to the teaching university because the university students prepared several very exciting and very
well-prepared scape rooms
for them.
Some
of them were Halloween-themed.Although they
couldn´t go through all the scape rooms, it was very fun to have to work as a team to achive the challenge, and at the end if we had done
well they gave us candy, stamps....
I would do this excursion
again because of how fun it was and congratulate the university students for taking the time to do this.

Hoy, día 16 de junio. los alumnos de quinto curso han pasado el día en la Finca de Alarcos haciendo varias actividades de multiaventura. Aunque ha hecho mucho calor, hemos pasado un gran día. Aquí hay fotos de todas las actividades chulas que hemos hecho.
Today, June 16th, the 5th level students have spent the day in 'Alarcos' field' taking part in several adventure fun activities. Although the weather has been too hot, we've had a great day. Here are some photos of the cool activities we've done.
6th grade
TALAMANCA DE JARAMA TRIP DAY 1
The trip was long and a bit boring but at the end we always ended up having fun with Carlos L.
At first, we thought we would fall asleep but we were so nervous that staying still was a challenge.
Soon after we stopped and as always, we were all peeing.
When we arrived, we were with some crazy monitors, they laughed every two words. Then we went to leave our bags and they gave us a tour of the farm. We saw many animals such as: chickens, Japanese chickens, we also saw peacocks, goats, horses, ducks, cows and pigs.
Then we went to eat, we ate macaroni and chicken with potatoes. There was too much free time after each meal to play football, handball, basketball...
At the end of free time, we did archery which was a bit boring, but we had a good time. After, we played several games related to the food chain and later we did some mini-games related to hunter, eagle, snake which is the same as rock, paper, scissors.
When we finished, we went to have a snack and they gave us time to call our parents.
Later, we went to a room that smelled very good because we were going to make a perfume with natural essences, they told us that we had to wait a day so the smell wouldn't go away.
They explained to us how the shower system worked, although then everything was chaos.
When we finished showering, we went to dinner, we had mash and French omelette.
Then, we played the night game which was very cool. There were two teams. The teams tried to hide the sticks in their base and when the monitors gave the start we had to go to the other base to look for the other team's sticks.
Afterwards, we all were exhausted and we went to bed.

DÌA 1
Inmersión lingüística en el Jarama
Cuando llegamos a c.e.i el Jarama lo primero que hicieron fue darnos una charla de las normas, a qué hora se come, las horas de tiempo libre...Después nos empezamos a alojar en nuestras habitaciones y elegir nuestras camas. Un poco más tarde nos fuimos a ver animales como gallinas, patos, cabras, caballos, conejos y burros. A continuación, nos fuimos a los baños y nos lavamos las manos y nos fuimos a comer.
Comimos macarrones con pollo y patatas fritas. Después nos dejaron tiempo libre en el que podíamos jugar múltiples deportes como el futbol, el baloncesto... A continuación, hicimos tiro con arco más tarde fuimos a jugar un piedra papel o tijera, pero con distintos roles: cazador águila y serpiente. Nos fuimos a merendar y nos dieron un poco de tiempo libre para llamar a nuestros padres.
Después de merendar fuimos a hacer unos perfumes donde podías añadir a tu perfume varios olores como, por ejemplo: vainilla, romero, rosa, eucalipto...
A continuación, nos fuimos a las duchas donde fue un buen momento para limpiarse y relajarse. Nos pusimos ropa limpia y nos fuimos a cenar.
Para cenar nos pusieron puré de verduras, tortilla francesa, jamón y de postre fruta o yogur, nos dejaron un poco de tiempo libre y nos fuimos a jugar el juego nocturno
Mas tarde nos fuimos a jugar el juego nocturno.
El juego nocturno, consistía en que había dos equipos, los dos tenían tres amuletos que tenían que esconderlos por una zona. Cuando ya han escondido los amuletos hay que encontrar los del otro equipo y llevarlos a su base. El primer equipo en encontrar los tres amuletos gana

Excursión Talamanca del Jarama
__________________DÍA 2________________
El día 2 fue muy chulo, los monitores nos despertaron con música, pero todos nos levantamos antes. Luego nos vestimos y bajamos a desayunar. Había tostadas, leche con colacao, leche sola, cereales y galletas. Más tarde nos fuimos a hacer unos bailes muy chulos. Cuando acabamos nos fuimos a las pistas porque teníamos tiempo libre. Cuando acabo el tiempo libre hicimos un análisis del agua del rio Jarama, pasamos por una cuerda floja y nos fuimos a comer.
Nos pusieron lentejas, albóndigas con patatas y de postre fruta o yogur natural.
A continuación, tuvimos tiempo libre, como siempre después de las comidas. Al acabar jugamos a un juego que tenías que dar vueltas, y poner o recoger unos lapiceros dentro de unos conos.
También jugamos a un balón prisionero. Cuando terminamos era la hora de merendar, así que merendamos un bocadillo de salami, y como habrás descubierto, tuvimos tiempo libre; en ese tiempo nos dieron media hora para llamar a nuestros familiares.
Después fuimos al sótano de la casa donde hicimos una manualidad de las capas de la tierra.
Teníamos que trabajar con una cartulina azul, una amarilla, una roja y una naranja para hacer las capas de la tierra. Más tarde, antes de cenar, nos duchamos. Cenamos pescado y sopa. Después de la cena, fuimos a la sala donde antes habíamos hecho unos juegos de baile. Allí, tuvimos poco tiempo libre porque los monitores decían que era mejor dedicarle más tiempo a la discoteca que haríamos después. En la discoteca bailamos (algunos) y nos lo pasamos muy bien. Cuando acabó, subimos a las habitaciones, nos pusimos el pijama, nos lavamos los dientes y nos dormimos. Ese fue nuestro segundo día. CRISTINA, ALBA Y CARLOS

Today, the 5th level students have attended a fun workshop in the town square dealing with Science experiments. They were based on the importance of a healthy diet, how healthy food acts in our body and the importance of physical activity. In spite of the hot weather, we've had a great time.
Hoy los alumnos de quinto han asistido a un divertido taller en la plaza mayor de experimentos científicos. Estaban basados en la importancia de una dieta sana, como la comida saludable actúa en nuestro organismo y la importancia de la actividad física. A pesar del calor, lo hemos pasado muy bien.

Today, most of the students from the school (from 5 years old to 6th level) have attended two plays in English in Quijano theatre. The youngest ones have watched the performance of 'The Good Wolf', whereas the oldest ones have done the same with 'Munchhäusen'. We've enjoyed and had lot of fun at the same time we've learnt English.
Hoy, un gran número de alumnos del centro (desde 5 años hasta sexto) han presenciado dos obras de teatro en inglés en el teatro Quijano. Los más pequeños han visto la actuación de 'The Good Wolf', mientras que los más mayores han hecho lo propio con 'Munchhaüsen'. Hemos disfrutado mucho al mismo tiempo que aprendíamos inglés.
